Kongoni Lodge on the ARR Reserve is a private lodge & park, open to all people who want to experience the real Africa, away from the hustle and bustle of safari tours. It is a special place, remaining on the sidelines of beaten paths overrun by hordes of tourists rushing to photograph yet another representative of the African savannah. Here, there is no need to rush anywhere, because the animals themselves come into the ranch, which is their favourite grazing place.
Kongoni Lodge was purchased by Margaret Zak who simultaneously started up ARR Foundation, Kongoni Guest Lodge is open to the public and great way to see the amazing work the ARR team is up to while also taking advantage of the beautiful 2000 acre estate crossing Kongoni and neighbouring Mundui Estate, also purchased by our founder in and effort to stop development of the area.
